Now that iOS 5 is available, it’s likely that Twitter use will increase since it the online social service has been integrated into the operating system. But it isn’t without its quirks. If you’ve updated to iOS 5 and have managed to jailbreak your iPhone, and if you’re a Twitter addict, it might be worthwhile to check out TwitterTask.
The Twitter integration in iOS 5 is convenient but in order to tweet it’s required that you send an attachment along with it. TwitterTask corrects that flaw by allowing you to send a simple tweet just by double clicking the home button. While this action still brings up the task switcher it also brings up a window to type a tweet, add a location and send it. Very simple and easy to use and since it is activated along with the task switcher it is truly usable at anytime.
